A lot of the issues that you then see, a vet may see, are down to poor husbandry or slightly something that is not quite right. And it may just be down to the type of sand that you use in the vivarium, or the temperature of the bulb that you use to keep them warm, or the location of the bulb in their vivarium. It is, as I say, really important to understand the basic requirements for reptiles before you get them and you can hopefully avoid any of the potential health issues that come if you are getting the husbandry right.
